MSDS是化學品生產或銷售企業按法律要求完成的有關化學品特征的一份綜合性文件，按照國際標準MSDS應具備以下內容：

2.hazards identification 危險性概述3.composition/information on ingredients 組成/成分方面的數據

4.first-aid measures 急救措施

5.fire-fighting measures 消防措施6.accidental release measures 泄露應急處理

7.handling and storage 操作處置和儲存8.exposure controls/personal protection 接觸控制和個人防護

9.physical and chemical properties理化特性10.stability and reactivity 穩定性和反應性11.toxicological information毒理學信息12.ecological information 生態資料13.disposal considerations廢棄處理14.transport information運輸信息
